At De Grey, we believe in the importance of mental health every day, which is why we recognised RU OK? Day with an entire week of meaningful activities across our Wingina and Withnell sites, and our Perth office in September 2023.
RU OK? is more than just a day; it’s an ongoing commitment to nurturing open conversations and supporting one another’s well-being. Here’s a glimpse of the fantastic events and initiatives that took place across our sites:
Our Perth office enjoyed a fundraising morning tea, a refreshing 3KM walk through Kings Park, a thought-provoking RU OK? Day Presentation by Lifeline WA and ended the week off with an office Ping Pong Competition.
Our site teams were highly engaged in all events including an RU OK? Day presentation delivered by Lifeline WA, a quiz night, and taking part in planting and painting of a tree in blue in support of the Blue Tree Project. As a special gesture, the teams on site also received care packs as a token of our gratitude.
RU OK? is a conversation that should extend beyond a single day. We look forward to continuing to support our staff, cultivating a culture of care, and making every day RU OK? Day.
