Glenn Jardine

Managing Director

B.Eng (Mining), MACID, FAusIMM
Mr. Jardine is a senior mining executive with direct experience growing resource companies from early stage exploration through to multi-operation entities. This includes taking projects through feasibility studies, equity funding, debt financing, project development and operations.

Commodity experience includes precious metals, base metals and bulk commodities across underground and open pit operations. Processing methods utilised at these projects and operations include CIP/CIL, DMS, sulphide flotation, BIOX, pressure oxidation and SX/EW. Projects developed have received Australian State and Federal recognition for environmental best practice and health and safety and human resources systems.

Mr Jardine was appointed to the board on 11 May 2020.

Peter Canterbury

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Canterbury is an experienced mining executive and Certified Practicing Accountant with a broad skillset spanning financial and corporate management, accounting, project financing, feasibility studies, contract negotiation and mining operations. He has held senior roles within the mining industry for close to 20 years, including as CEO and CFO of several ASX-listed companies. His previous positions include Managing Director of Triton Minerals Ltd, CEO/Executive Director of Bauxite Resources Ltd and CFO and Acting CEO of Sundance Resources Ltd. Mr. Canterbury brings highly relevant financial expertise to support De Grey’s ambitions of becoming a Tier 1 gold producer from Hemi.

Neil brings extensive experience in both technical and sustainability disciplines. An Environmental Geologist and Geotechnical Engineer by qualification, Neil spent his early career in major consulting businesses where he serviced companies operating in mining, oil and gas and infrastructure. Neil recently held positions including the Group Head of Sustainability, Environment and Communities at Iluka Resources where he managed a team of over 30 people. Most recently Neil was the Group Head of Environment and Social at San Miguel Corporation developing a large scale airport project in the Philippines capital of Manilla.

COURTNEY MORGAN-EVANS

GENERAL MANAGER PEOPLE & CAPABILITY

Ms. Morgan-Evans is a strategic human resources and industrial relations professional having spent more than a decade in the industry working with numerous leading mining and industrial businesses in Australia. Over the course of her career, Ms. Morgan-Evans’s roles have involved her having responsibility for the HR/IR functions overseeing multibillion-dollar development projects, involving thousands of employees and ensuring an alignment of HR plans and strategic business objectives.

Phil Tornatora

General Manager

BSc (Hons), MEconGeol

Mr. Tornatora joins De Grey Mining with over 25 years of geological experience. He has had substantial Exploration Management experience; with over 4 years as General Manager of Exploration at Northern Star. During this time Northern Star advanced from a single mine operation to a multi-mine company producing around 500Koz gold per annum. Prior to this, Phil worked as Exploration and Geology Manager for Galaxy Resources, a prominent Australian lithium/tantalum producer. He has held senior Geology roles with major International gold producer AngloGold Ashanti and has had a range of experience from regional to near mine exploration and resource development roles.

Philip has a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Master of Economic Geology, and is a member of the AUSIMM and AIG. He has worked on numerous projects, both in Australia, Africa and SE Asia, with his extensive experience being a welcomed addition to the team at De Grey.

Allan Kneeshaw

Manager, Business Development

Mr. Kneeshaw is a diversified exploration geologist with 26 years’ experience in gold, base metals and bulk commodities in Australia and China. He has held senior roles with major mining companies, including Head of Greenfields Exploration (Australia) for AngloGold Ashanti, Country Manager (Exploration – Australia) for Anglo American and Chief Geologist (China) for AngloGold Ashanti. Mr. Kneeshaw joined De Grey Mining as a consulting geologist in 2017.

John Brockelsby

General Manager Risk

John is a highly experienced risk and safety professional with diverse international experience across the mining, government and the not-for-profit sectors spanning over 40 years. Prior to joining De Grey Mining, he has held senior roles at the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Anglo American and in the ACT Government. John has been awarded an honorary fellowship of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and is a past National President of the Australian Institute of Training and Development.

General counsel & Company Secretary

Ms Standish is an experienced General Counsel and Company Secretary, with expertise and skills in leading legal, risk, compliance and governance functions in ASX listed and international companies. Sarah’s most recent previous roles were as General Counsel and Company Secretary of St Barbara Limited and General Counsel of IMDEX Limited.

Peter Holmes

Hemi Project Director

Mr Holmes is a highly experienced project development, operational readiness, and corporate mining executive with over 30 years’ experience in the gold mining industry including with Barrick Gold Corporation (Barrick) and prior to that with Placer Dome Asia Pacific (Placer). He has worked across
various jurisdictions including Australia, Canada, United States and South America.

Mr Holmes’ previous roles include Senior Director of Project Execution for Barrick where he oversaw approximately $9 billion in construction projects. The role encompassed the completion and handover of the Pueblo Viejo gold project, one of the world’s largest pressure oxidation (POx) plants, located in the Dominican Republic. Other previous roles include Senior Director – Construction and Corporate Manager – Projects for Barrick and Corporate Manager – Project Management for Placer. Mr Holmes has more recently worked as Studies Director for SolGold on its Cascabel project in Ecuador.

Mr Holmes holds tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering and Mineral Technology and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM), Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as the Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International.
